Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Policy

SCHRAMM Coatings´aim is to ensure the quality of our products and services in response to the requirements of our customers. Pursuing this aim we adhere to the principles laid down in the global initiative "Responsible Care" following an effective economic method to protect the environment and the world at large.

All our employees endeavour to fulfil our customers´expectations with regard to the quality of our products and services, safe operation in our plants and protecting the environment.

Environmental and health and safety protection of employees, quality assurance and economic success are aims which are equally important to the Company. On questions of productivity and profitability, safety and health issues of all concerned are always taken into consideration.

Management is committed to exemplary conduct and ensures that every employee has been comprehensively informed about rules, legal regulations, dangers and safety measures.

All employees adhere to valid regulations and work vigilantly and carefully. In accordance with their knowledge and ability, they carry personal responsibility for their own and others´safety.

Avoiding injuries and sickness and protecting life and health of our employees is a priority and matter of course. Our Company therefore takes all necessary and appropriate action to ensure the health and well-being of our employees at work, as well as the safety of customers, visitors and neighbours.

Considerations when planning products, procedures, plants and daily operations are based on health and safety and environmental protection. Thus safety risks and risks to the environment e.g. waste and emissions, can be recognised at an early stage and avoided. Our operation processes are so designed to minimize consumption of water and energy and environmental contamination.

SCHRAMM Coatings conducts comprehensive research to market products which do not conflict with environmental or personal safety. As far as possible, we want to support our customers in the use of more environmentally friendly products and application systems.

We want to communicate this policy to our suppliers and partners to the advantage of both sides.

We see commitment to complying to valid legal regulations and other requirements as a matter of course. Adherence to these requirements and our endeavours regarding quality, safety, health and environment protection are regularly controlled with inspections and audits. Continual improvement is our aim.

This policy is the framework for determining and evaluating our aims. Its implementation, together with raising awareness and training all employees, will ensure and continuously improve the levels expected by our customers, employees and the public at large.
